Digital Footprint Check

When someone searches your name, what do they find?

People check a business before they call it. This looks at what your website says about you, which profiles it links to, and walks you through Google, Maps and the directories that matter here. You get a score out of 100 and a to-do list in order.

What it looks at

Five things a careful customer checks.

Each one is either measured from your site and your domain's public records, or answered by you from a search we set up. Nothing is guessed, and nothing is scraped.

  1. Your website

Whether it opens securely and names your business where search engines read it first.

  2. Who you say you are

Whether the site declares your business (name, phone, address, logo) in structured data, and lists your profiles as the same business.

  3. How to reach you

A tap-to-call number, one number used consistently, and a WhatsApp link.

  4. Your email

An address on your own domain rather than a free one, and the records that stop others sending as you.

  5. Search, maps and listings

Google, Google Maps, Bing, Apple Maps, Justdial, IndiaMART, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram, checked by you with the links we give you.

Most of the fixes are an afternoon each. If the list is long, or the listings need building from scratch, that's SEO & local visibility work.

Common questions

Why do you ask me to look at Google and Justdial myself?

Because we won't scrape them. Their terms forbid automated reading, they block it, and a blocked request would come back looking like "not found", which would be us telling you something false about your own business. So we give you the exact search to open, you look, and the score uses what you saw.

What does the score mean?

It's our opinion of how easy you are to find and check online, out of 100. Each area (your website, how you describe yourself to search engines, how to reach you, your email, search and maps, listings and social) carries a share of the hundred, shown on the page. Questions you haven't answered are left out rather than counted against you, and the page says how many are left.

Why does it keep saying name, address and phone?

Because that is most of the job. Search engines and maps decide which details to trust by how often they agree across the web. The same name, address and phone on your website, your Google Business Profile and every directory tells them you're one real business in one real place. Three slightly different versions make them unsure, and an unsure search engine shows someone else.

Is my domain being young a problem?

No. Domain age is shown as a fact and never counts toward the score. Every established business had a young domain once; what helps is being consistent and easy to check, which you can fix this week.

Do you keep what I enter?

No. We read your home page and your domain's public records when you press the button, and send the result back. Your answers to the questions are kept in your own browser so you can come back to them, and are never sent to us.
